After transitioning from cosmetics to the nail scene, Japanese nail artist ageha opened an eponymous private salon that was available to members only. Her blog, which she began in 2004, steadily grew in popularity, and she soon began working on projects that included doing nails for famous artists, actresses, and magazine editorials. With her years of experience as an art director, she currently also works as a producer for many different projects.

In 2013, she dropped “ageha Collection,” an original collection of products tailored to her taste and style. Since then, she has focused on taking her uniquely creative liquid art and what soon became known as her “miraculous gradation” technique to events and seminars both in Japan and internationally. ageha continues to expand her reach and her involvement in the nail scene, from salon work to nail school to product development and retail.
